Re: Success with Trauma Release Exercises

Chiming in. Still doing TRE now every morning before work. The effect on my general mood has been amazing. I'm less hypervigilant and more at ease than I've ever felt. Meditation never achieved this level of 'chillness'. It's great. I'm sleeping through the night for the first time in my life too. I...

Re: How I'm beating this.

More on TRE in the medical setting. I'm convinced CPPS sufferers are in the 'freeze' state.

In fact he brings up CPPS in the talk!

Re: How I'm beating this.

Davyboy, I'm definitely going to try the TRE. Do you have any resources that would be a good starting point...and/or did you see a TRE therapist? I found one in Vancouver. I had to look for a somatic therapist. Honestly, if you just buy the Shake It off naturally video from Dr. Bercelli's website t...

Re: How I'm beating this.

Again, couldn't help but think of the CPPS community this morning. Woke up and did my TRE exercises before work. Went to urinate and my stream was so powerful it nearly knocked me over. I haven't felt that EVER (normally I am start and stop start and stop, even post CPPS). I'm not even on Prosta Q o...

Re: How I'm beating this.

I have tons of trauma stemming from childhood that I'm certain has contributed to my current state. I've noticed that people with deep historic trauma do less well with the Wise Anderson approach. Our forum now has several members who were only successful when they used additional approaches. But I...

Re: How I'm beating this.

Interesting, I read several reports by people with the different manifestations of male pelvic pain (CPPS, Hard Flaccid, Pudendal Neuralgia) who named TRE as an important part of their healing regime. Another hint, that CPPS at its core is not about a muscle cramp or triggerpoints, but a dysfunctio...

Re: How I'm beating this.

Checking in. No longer suffering from CPPS, but spent months with headaches and major depression and no lust for life. NOTHING seemed to shake the underlying sense of anxiousness, general fear and just general unease I felt at all hours of the day. Went through months and months obsessed with my hea...

Checking In - It's Been A While

Hi Everyone, Webslave feel free to add this to my thread, but in an effort to share this post with the widest range of members as possible, I started a new thread. I no longer suffer from pelvic pain. I've basically been symptom free for nearly 2 years and in fact, I have been able to engage interco...

Female Pelvic Pain

Hi Everyone, Funny I'm back on here (I'll post in my own thread an update). I've recently started seeing a girl who suffers from recurring 'UTIs' according to her doctor, despite no evidence of bacteria. She also had a Cystoscopy performed and it revealed no structural abnormalities. To me, it seems...

Any tips (besides a saline rinse) on how to reduce inflammation in the sinuses?

Re: This forum is a godsend! (davyboy)

Still experiencing bizarre symptoms on my right side in my hip. Yup, this sound almost exactly like what I'm experiencing. I doubt a nerve is being pinched, unless you're losing sensation completely. Research on central sensitization and allodynia is still fairly young--many pain researchers didn't...

Re: This forum is a godsend! (davyboy)

Thanks for the insight. I thought I had shingles or something for a while. It just seems like my hip doesn't like clothing being rubbed against it. I did give myself a really intense massage in the area a week or back so I think it has really irritated things down there and I got all wound up. Again...

Re: This forum is a godsend! (davyboy)

Still experiencing bizarre symptoms on my right side in my hip. Mostly when I'm wearing clothing and sitting. I had to untuck my shirt today it was so irritating. It's not painful. Things just feel irritated. It's not the skin. I can touch it and it feels fine. I can also push on it and it feels fin...

Re: This forum is a godsend! (davyboy)

Just checking in... Things have been going well. Been making good strides with meditation. Feel pretty much 100% mentally and physically. So to me it's very strange that I started having these problems recently. However, over the last week I've had some really strange prickly, burning and tingling s...
