Re: Two words: red wine.

Vodka is what helps me the most. A vodka martini on a Friday night takes my symptoms way down and usually leads to a more enjoyable weekend.

Front page Reddit.com submission about CPPS

So a guy made it to the Reddit.com front page by doing an "Ask Me Anything" thread about his (particularly severe) form of CPPS. You can read it here: http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1aod7l/i_am_allergic_to_sexual_arousal_ama/ I've been a redditor for a long time but I never thought to talk ab...

Re: Hello all! New to the forum but not new to CPPS

Weird. Okay. I'll give it a try starting at the beginning of this week.

Re: Hello all! New to the forum but not new to CPPS

Hey all, Quick question: I've been taking both Cystoprotek and Q-Urol together. Two tablets of Cystoprotek in the morning and at night, and one tablet of Q-Urol in the morning and night. These are the recommended doses for both of these products. However it occurs to me that in both of these product...

Question for everyone

Hey all, As I slowly recover from my CPPS, I've encountered an odd situation with my body that I was wondering if anyone else has experienced. I've been getting a pretty significant amount of relief by taking two supplements together. Cystoprotek and Prosta-Q. I take two tablets of Cystoprotek and o...

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate

Hey CMT23, It's been a while since I've posted...but I wanted to jump in and say that I also have *exactly* the same "full-bowel-makes-all-my-urinary-symptoms-go-away" thing that you do. As a matter of fact, you're the only other human being on Earth who I've heard as the same thing. No other person...

Re: PainShield "Reduces Pelvic and Bladder Pain"

Okay so I wrote to the guys that make this Painshield device. I asked them a bunch of questions. Here's the email I got back: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your email. To answer your questions: How do I ask my doctor for this? What kind of...

Re: PainShield "Reduces Pelvic and Bladder Pain"

Well this is very interesting. It looks like you need a doctor's prescription to order one. There is also no discussion as to cost. I wonder how you would even go about asking for this thing at your doctor's office. "Hey doc, there's this weird machine you've probably never heard of...can you please...

Re: Aeron office chair review

I am interested, too, in the Hara Chair. It seems a little expensive to just take a chance on. It also looks like it's shipped from Europe. I would hate to drop more than 700 bucks on a chair only to have it arrive from Germany and discover that it's uncomfortable. If someone finds a place in the US...

Re: Direct Pressure on Prostate Recreates Symptoms

Again CMT23, I'm in the *exact* same situation as you. Pressing on the prostate exactly recreates my symptoms....and that's the ONLY place that recreates my symptoms. When I first started doing the protocol almost a year ago, pressing on other parts of my inner pelvis created a lot of pain, but not ...

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate

Vodka is pretty much the only thing I drink now. Specifically Grey Goose martinis. They reliably give me moderate relief from my symptoms, and don't increase the urination too much. Macallan scotch is a second best. Beer and wine seem to be the worst. These two don't make my symptoms any better real...

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate

Hey CMT, I feel for you so much, man. I really do. I'm in a very similar situation. I'm approaching 11 months of doing the protocol and I'm pretty disappointed that I don't feel anything close to "normal" yet. Do I feel better than 11 months ago? Ya, I guess so. It's tough to remember but 11 months ...

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate

Hey friend, Just wanted to say I'm right there with you. I'm just passing my 10th month of doing the Wise-Anderson Protocol protocol and I as well am definitely not "cured". Am I better? Like you said...probably. For me, the urinary frequency has come down to much more manageable levels. Most days a...
