Sexualized trauma / traumatic coupling

After 15 years of research surrounding prostatitis symptoms, I have come to see clearly that my symptoms are directly related to a traumatic event that occurred in my youth. I have studied trauma for over a year now and have found that my traumatic coupling is arousal and anxiety (coupled during a t...

Re: Berceli Protocol - Trauma Releasing Exercises (Tremors)

After many more hours of research, it seems very plausible that this "trauma" diagnosis is correct in my case. My intention in posting is to guide those who are researching this. Apparently, traumatic coupling is quite common in sexual arousal and panic. This is explained in Dr. Levine's book "Wakin...

Re: Berceli Protocol - Trauma Releasing Exercises (Tremors)

It is not too difficult. They are easier shown than explained. I think you can order a booklet from Berceli for $10.

Re: Berceli Protocol - Trauma Releasing Exercises (Tremors)

I have been doing the Berceli protocol for 6 months now and I can say that it is making a significant difference in my daily pain and tension. I also use the Wise-Anderson protocol, as I was in California in 2007. I think the Wise-Anderson protocol has increased the effectiveness of the TRE. Conside...

Re: Berceli Protocol - Trauma Releasing Exercises (Tremors)

A moderator removed the "Neurogenic tremors" from wikidoc.org. Perhaps it wasn't the best term to define it. I am researching the freeze-flight response and procedural memory.

Re: Berceli Protocol - Trauma Releasing Exercises (Tremors)

The shaking is nothing more than a neurogenic tremor. There are many of ways I am sure to induce a neurogenic tremor. They can be witnessed in many species of animals. http://www.wikidoc.org/index.php/Neurogenic_tremors It's really about fatiguing the psoas muscle. Interesting study in itself. Perso...

Berceli Protocol - Trauma Releasing Exercises (Tremors)

I have not seen anything on this website regarding Dr. Berceli and TRE. I hope this is the right forum to post it. I have suffered CPPS symptoms for many years. I went to see Dr. Wise in 2007 and it was helpful but only in terms of managing pain. Since then I have studied hundreds of treatments on t...

Re: Cold Laser Therapy Treatments - With Success!!!

I am also looking into Laser Therapy for my CPPS. I have tension around the prostate, and obviously some nerve irritation. I too would like to know the make, model and specs. Right now I am considering the Bioflex products by Meditech. What got me interested was the success in treating arthritis. I ...
