Does a 3 month remission mean much?

Hi - After having serious urinary symptoms for the first time for a few months in January, I had had a pretty complete remission for about 3 months, but things have again gotten kind of bad. I have started smoking and some other lifestyle changes for the worse which may have something to do with it....

Re: Ibogaine???

Indeed no deaths have been conclusively shown to be caused by Ibogaine. Also the inference that it is illegal because of safety factors is surely mistaken as well.

Re: Found my drug: Trazodone

I started trazodone in response to an anxious reaction I had from some pretty serious throat symptoms last summer. Trazodone was pretty good for helping me sleep during this period and may have given me some general anxiety relief. I was still using some trazadone when I first had pelvic symptoms a ...

Re: Ibogaine???

I have heard it discussed by some folks who seem reputable. Thanks for bringing it back to mind. It certainly seems appropriate for people with severe addiction, but considering it for persons with less difficulty is worth considering

Tai Chi

It seems that studies looking at Tai Chi's effect on various aspects of physical and psychological health have been positive up until now. One might assume that these successful studies would indicate a likelihood that it might be beneficial in treating prostatitis. In particular the anxiety and see...

Re: Looking for biofeedback in California

Carl Thanks for the reply and very glad you have been helped. I hope it is clear that I am a believer in the potential in this stuff. If disagreement in the terminology or specific techniques being used is not completely clear to me at this time I doubt it is worth debate. I have seen feedback cente...

Re: Upregulation of nerves from physiotherapy

The Dr Smith is from Sonoma CA? I think I have been to him, but had no idea he was excellent on this. He did mention Wise/Anderson, but otherwise said he was in a big hurry that day

Re: Looking for biofeedback in California

I am probably not understanding. I assume the purpose of biofeedback/neurofeedback is to retrain the mind to send out different wave signals to the body which improve health. Then. I presume that this wave change is measurable in terms of EEG. At the same time I assume a change in rectal tonicity co...

Re: Looking for biofeedback in California

O.K I am aware of the two studies which seemed to have rather positive results. I have had a little trouble finding the actual abstracts, but will try to come up with them. I know that the biofeedback model creates some challenges with the double blind format, but as far as I saw the study lead by S...

Looking for biofeedback in California

Hi everyone- I am new here and have had noticeable prostatitis symptoms for about 5 weeks. They have been moderate though it seemed to be picking up speed with some new back and tailbone pain a couple of days ago. I have been in the midst of some pretty big lifestyle and diet changes because of some...
