Both work quite well for any spasming muscles internally or externally. And both are of the long term duration(it takes a long time to eliminate them in your system), as compared to Ativan or the like where it works quickly and then stops. Being a long term user of different types of these meds I hi...

The "pain at the end of penis" syndrome is cured by the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol by applying 60-90 seconds pressure to the trigger point on the anterior levator ani where it attaches to the prostate. I completely agree with this Webslave. This was my experience also after seeing my Physical ...

Regarding the surgical procedure on the pudendal nerve, where all this is leading: most people who have had it are negative about it (see Pudendal Pain forum). Ligaments are cut, the spine can be destabilized, and there is a 6 inch scar on each buttock. People who have had it are often on morphine ...

levator ani problem, pudendal nerve test, question?

Hi folks, After having a burning tip of the penis for over 10 years without significant results from meds I found a pelvic floor specialist who could recreate the pain by internally going in and working on the levator ani muscles. I have seen her each week for the last 4 months with minimal results....

After 10 years of pain and continued pain, I have only recently found a person that works with males as well as females. I think if one forces the issue by talking to a lot of ladies, clinics, and or physio's that deal with ladies pelvic floor issues, one may find a physio that deals with men, or a ...

Great news, just make sure you follow your countries maximum number of days that you use the drug. (typically 28 days), it is an extremely addicting type drug (same as valium), and yes it does work, when I look back 7 years ago when I was put on a benzodiazapine (ie valium, or Ativan, klonopin,etc),...

Flomax and valium seem the way forward for me. Flomax relaxes the involuntary muscles around the prostate; Valium relaxes the voluntary muscles. Be cautioned about taking Valium, especially long-term -- it can be HIGHLY addictive (I know from personal experience). Could your problems be muscular te...

I am new to this webpage. I have had CP for about 4 months. Currently my symptoms are frequency and urgency of urination, and a burning pain at the tip of my penis. the Benzo debate

I too am one of the folks that was prescribed benzo's a number of years ago for "Pelvic Pain", basically constant pain in the tip of the penis that would get to the point that I couldnt walk and I was in agony all the time. It did help, as some of the folks here indicated but I was one of the folks ...

Keen to try a Benzo?

From my experience called Pelvic tension 10 years ago by a urologist in Canada(simply a constant pain in the tip of the penis), now possibly called pelvic myoneuropathy, I did go the benzo route after not being able to stand the constant pain. Yes it did relax me and the pain considerably but be for...
