Re: General prostatitis questions please reply

You guys are all right and if I am ever going to manage this condition I need to give it one hundred percent. Thinking positively is not one of my strong suits. And you're right Jay, giving Dr. Wise a call for some words of encouragement sounds like a good idea. Patience is a big key as Dr. Wise has...

Re: General prostatitis questions please reply

Yes I recieved the wand at the clinic. I only had two true trigger points, ones that recreated my symptoms, and both are the easiest one's to reach right at the entrance.

Re: General prostatitis questions please reply

It has been about six months since I attended the Wise clinic in Santa Rosa. I am ashamed to say that I never really got going with this protocol. For awhile I was doing internal and external PT in the spots that I was told I had trigger points. I was doing the relaxation maybe a half hour to and ho...

Re: Pyridium

Thanks, it never really did a whole lot for me anyway. The Navy doc just gave me a whole bunch cause he had no idea what was wrong with me, and at the time I had no clue.

Re: Guidance with internal TP work at home?

Yeah for sure that's not fair they didn't have it then. Was the price of the clinic the same as it is now?

Re: Q-Urol Arrives!

Hey man I don't quite understand the position you described. So your doing the massage with your thumb? I just can't get a mental image. Well the wand from the clinic is form fitted to your height. Tom does a internal massage with his finger to decide how far in until her reaches your pelvic floor/t...

Re: Q-Urol Arrives!

No actually I haven't tried the side lying position. And you said using your thumb? I don't remember him telling me that. Could you expand on this for me? Also I am not sure what the crystal wand is.

Re: Guidance with internal TP work at home?

No this wand is not for retail sale yet. They specifically give it to the patients at the Stanford clinic. Each individual recieves one that has a stopper depending on what their height is so that they can reach maximim success with their TP's, but also not hurt themselves by going too deep. Its a v...

Re: Guidance with internal TP work at home?

To follow up on that I know its frustrating when people keep telling you to just go to the clinic and it might seem impossible for you. I felt that way too for awhile before I finally just decided to just do it no matter what. Have you had any luck since your last post?

Re: Guidance with internal TP work at home?

The best advice I could give is to go to the clinic in Santa Rosa. The wand they give you is great.

Re: Q-Urol Arrives!

I completely agree with you. As I said I will give this protocol 100%. I have noticed however that my abs which were stated by Tom Sawyer to be my biggest trigger point don't really seem tense and painful anymore now that I have been doing the massage everyday. But yet my pain has not become better ...

Re: Q-Urol Arrives!

So if this treatment doesn't work for me and I am dedicated to it and try for years and then decide its not going to help me then what? I know for me that is a little while down the road, but you say some other condition of the pelvis? Like what? And how would you know if its even the pelvis that is...

Re: Q-Urol Arrives!

I haven't been on in awhile cause work is so busy for me but I attended the Wise clinic in April. It was very insightful and gave me tons of hope. Talking with Mr. Sawyer( the PT) I asked some questions that I had been curious about. He told me that it hasn't been proven that a specific food or drin...

Re: Q-Urol Arrives!

Doing ok, hanging in there. I will attend the Wise clinic in April. Am really looking forward to that. My symptoms go through bad flare ups. Trying to drink a lot of water and stay away from the caffeine. Thought about trying Q-Urol but I think I am going to wait and think about it again in a couple...
