I scored high on the poll, and I am also taking part in the study. It will be interesting to see the results from my tests, once found.

Re: Pelvic Floor Specialist in Toronto

So if anyone wants to make an appointment I'd call just now!! I just had my second appointment with Carolyn, and she really is amazing. She found a couple of trigger points internally, near the front. She also confirmed my theory that I probably brought this on myself, by unconsciously repressing s...

Re: McGill University Health Centre - Montreal

"This multidisciplinary clinic will serve both a clinical and research purpose. Patients who attend this clinic will also be considered for the research study which is expected to lead to new strategies for assessment and treatment of the CPPS-related pain and sexual dysfunction."

Re: McGill University Health Centre - Montreal

Yes, me to! Not sure why this thread was moved to clinics, therapists & doctors... as it is a research project and hospital. I am going to try to get more info on the research.

Re: Pelvic Floor Specialist in Toronto

Good news for anyone living in Toronto or in the general region. Actually, there is another person in the area (with more experience), but she is in Cambridge. She is a licensed physiotherapist, and also needs a referral from your doc. I have seen her for one visit. She is extremely knowledgeable. ...

Re: New to the Forum, and DESPERATE!

I have said many times CP/CPPS is a stress disorder... I always find the most ironic thing is the uros from the past and today say to many CP/CPPS men that what they are experiencing is in their heads...I find that to be ironic...The old school uros were right after all...in some ways :-D I think t...

Re: New to the Forum, and DESPERATE!

Childhood abuse here too. Youthful Traumas - one after another. Panic & Anxiety Disorders since I was 19. I'm sure my CPPS symptoms arose from dealing with stressors in the wrong way. I simply white knuckled it through EVERYTHING with gritted teeth literally thinking I could push my way through lif...
