Re: Cystocopy? CT-scan of bladder? For newbie to uros

Thanks for your replies. Is a flexible cystoscopy generally done with any sort of anaesthesia? He mentioned older individuals generally do not feel a lot during this procedure, but that younger males usually express a sensation of direct pain. I seem to remember that he mentioned that he was going t...

Cystocopy? CT-scan of bladder? For newbie to uros

Hello. Long-winded, as usual.. :) Just wanted some general advice regarding going down the uro-route..heh, well, I've only done kidney-scan before, but as of the recent flareup (January) I resolved to try things until I hit dead ends, not before. (Or until they try to make me eat antibiotics without...

Re: Accutane a Cause?

I was on Accutane for over a year during my late teens. It hit me pretty hard. Side effects like aching muscles/joints, muscles over the head tensing like crazy, making it feel like I'd fall through the pillow every night when I laid my head down, headaches, extreme skin dryness and nightmares every...

Re: Caffeine and HPA axis

It's a bit gloomier though if you tend to be a worrier, but also wretchedly drowsy most days. Coffee tastes so good, and makes me feel alive in the mornings.. I haven't found it to trigger anything (the same day) yet(more than occasionally), but then I haven't found anything to definitely trigger th...

Re: Stinging, slight pain, occasional twitching in extremities?

Hmm. Well I haven't felt them as much for a day or two now, *knocks on old moldy falling-apart wood*, besides the legs occasionally feeling cold and stinging slightly when I sit down. If they don't get worse I'll put them down to anxiety. Thanks for the replies, webslave and tiger. I guess having a ...

Re: What is up with beer helping everyone

Before I had my first 'feel like there are knives swimming in my rather full bladder cutting as I lurch to the bathroom and as I empty the bladder' experience, and after the first flare, when my only symptoms were a weak stream and getting up in the middle of the night to pee around every other nigh...

Stinging, slight pain, occasional twitching in extremities?

Hi. Don't know if this deserved its own thread as I mentioned it in my introductory one..but here goes anyway. I had a second 'flare' starting a week / two months ago (depending on how you look at it), and the symptoms have varied quiet a lot since. Last Friday however I noticed an occasional 'sting...

Re: My introduction (long) (and thanks for reading :) )

Thanks for the reply webslave. I've found that hesitancy isn't quite as bad if I don't focus on exactly that when I try to go. Still, the stream is ..weell, I would like to compare it to two years ago and say absolutely pathetic, but at the moment I truly do feel grateful for being able to go at all...

Re: Total erection failure sometimes?

Well, it's back; to a degree at least. Glad to see that, relief relief :)

Of course the universe being the universe something else has been brought to my attention..ah, but this thing doesn't appear to have a permanent off-switch anyways = )

Re: My introduction (long) (and thanks for reading :) )

Sorry to bump my own thread but I figured it'd be better then creating a new thread for this exact issue. (Or?) As soon as I declare something and believe in it; some cosmic gremlin probably hears it, snickers, then pulls green thread BZZ647 two mols to the right, and what I believed is inverted. La...

Re: Total erection failure sometimes?

Thanks for the reply. I guess I can stop thinking about dead, black little nerve-endings and such :p
At least for a while...but shall try to dampen reasons behind stress and see what happens, in regards to this symptom and every other.

Total erection failure sometimes?

Hello. Rcpt to: * (enough geekiness) (I have to laugh, if I don't laugh I might go dig a hole) I recently made my first post on these forums , rather detailing my history of this ailment (in the general forum). Thanks to those who managed to read that book. I wrote that after the initial major flare...

Re: My introduction (long) (and thanks for reading :) )

Many thanks for your answers. webslave: Not that I can recall. It was just the hesitancy, the days prior. I was worrying about it as I'd never experienced it before. The hesitancy has come and gone since then, waxing and waning sort of, never completely gone, after the night the pain started, but it...

My introduction (long) (and thanks for reading :) )

Hello. I do not know if this is the place for lengthy intros, if it isn't any admin - feel free to move it. I posted a couple of questions towards the end. (This may seem less 'intro' and more 'error log' or 'complete medical history' but I have issues expressing myself in an inexact way :p ) Wish t...
