I wonder how it would affect the pelvic nerves and the body in general if it was used via an enema?
A woman on the IC site cured herself by doing colonics.
They have been doing some studies and apparently there is a lot of cross talk between the nerves in the colon and bladder among other things.

Crossed nerve signals make other body parts share the pain New York Times Published Sunday, Oct. 05, 2008 When someone has a heart attack, a classic symptom is shooting pain down the left arm. That symptom, it turns out, has something in common with a far more benign kind of pain: the headache one ...

Re: Spicy foods harmful for chronic bladder pain
That's interesting. I always knew that IC/CPPS is not a one organ disease, but I didn't know that the colon was involved. According to more than a couple of people, women PT do not have the strength and finger range to properly access the pelvic floor. Can...

Re: New Prostatitis Textbook
No offense Doc, but honestly I've had my fill of Uros and doctors in general. I saw my uro yesterday and after his allotted three minutes he told me in response to a question I had about this clenching symptom that is driving me nuts. "Honestly, I don't know." Then he stood up which is the...

Re: Childhood stress linked to inflammation in adults
I found this article fascinating. Being a very highly-strung, worry-wart, catastrophic thinking kind of man and having a horrible childhood where I suffered fifteen years or so of physical and emotional abuse, I have always wondered what caused what. It's like the proverbial chicken or the egg quest...
