Re: My Saga, I need helpful suggestions...

Snowbro... Have you just simply tried sticking your finger in your ass? You should be able to tell very quickly if it aches or feels tender after feeling around some. If it does... welcome to the club. ;)

Re: I feel anxiety drove me to this

OCD is an issue all unto itself. You should be treating this as you are treating your pelvic floor. Have you done anything for the OCD?

Re: Neue01's Case

Hey Gang. It's been awhile since I've posted. I thought I'd give some learnings over the last year. First off, things have progressed very well. I'm through the woods but I still have bad days and flare ups periodically. Nowadays, these flare ups go away with a little help and sometimes on there own...

Re: Internal Massage - How deep do you go?

Deeper massage (6"-10") is really important people. You don't have to do it all the time but you should be checking in on these muscles from time to time and releasing tightness. I've found a big connection to the tightness of these deeper internal muscle groups and the external and internal muscles...

Re: Kevkos - Here's my Story

So, I think the tailbone both externally and internally is a key area to work out. It's my feeling that the bone here is a leveraging point for almost all the pelvic muscles and that because of this scar tissue builds up from this overuse condition. I didn't even notice how much scar tissue I had be...

Re: Neue01's Case

I've noticed a huge connection with those muscles being kept tight by scar tissue along the external tailbone. I'm really surprised scar tissue is almost not even talked about on here but it is known to be a culprit in all other muscle overuse scenarios. Physical therapists do there best in all othe...

Scar tissue

Have other people come across any real and noticeable amounts of scar tissue? I've seemed to come across a patch of it externally around the small of my back and tailbone. I never really thought about it or realized it was anything significant in the past. It didn't really refer noticeable pain but ...

Re: Neue01's Case

Also, it's important to know the muscles higher up work in tandem with the accessible muscles lower down. Working the muscles below releases the ones up higher but can also flare them. There is a link between them all through fascia. It's just important to know there are muscles up there that we may...

Re: Neue01's Case

Yeah, I've been working through it for 4 years. The first couple of years I was just doing it all wrong and flaring the condition more then helping. I also paid almost no attention to external muscles and was too obsessive in the amount and way I delivered massage. After making changes and learning ...

Re: Neue01's Case

I can only tell you what has worked after having the condition for 12 years and spending the last 4-5 working through it. I know Tim is a great guy but I'm not sure if he's ever had this condition himself? Look around because others mention holding sore spots for longer then 90 seconds. Also, explor...

Re: Neue01's Case

Yes, you've been holding for to short of a timeframe. It takes at least 3 minutes to unravel a knot. The neuromuscular mechanisms need to go through a full cycle to release. Holding for 90 seconds only makes it worse and flares up connected muscles through your fascia. I had done it that way for yea...

Some learnings to date

Hey everyone, just thought I'd share some current experiential findings. So, as I'm sure you all know our internal and external muscle systems are all connected through fascia. If you stir up or inflame one area it will affect another opposing area in your pelvic system. I have found through ...

Trigger Point compression period

So, I thought I'd update a little with some thoughts on trigger point holding timeframes. I've noticed massive change in my internal and external trigger point release by altering the amount of time I hold or compress painful or tight areas. I know that Wise/Anderson recommend a 60-90 second timefra...

Re: Are these trigger points or hemorrhoids? Please HELP...

He Alpha and Steve. How are things progressing? I thought I'd check in because our symptoms are very similar. We should make an effort to share updates and feedback on the sexual symptoms related to CPPS. I'd start by asking if you are experiencing very tenses muscle tissue and flares in the 5, 6 an...
