New symptom - aching pain

All I have been doing plenty of PT and relaxation work recently and have experienced a 50% drop in the pain at the tip of my penis which was/is the symptom that really hurts and gets me down. Recently though I have been experiencing an aching pain in the back of my legs, hamstrings and calfs. I try ...

Re: Seen Bill Taylor (uk physio for CPPS) Today

She does MFR work on all parts of the body including the pelvis. I had not tried any internal work so I thought I would try Bill as I thought that this may be the missing link. Ruth has treated many CPPS sufferors who have only internal trigger point pain with external MFR I really like seeing Ruth ...

Re: Rectal burning post PT

Strangely I was never immediately better but felt an improvement after 2 weeks following the PT.

I think its important to keep up regular PT at home as I think it is possible to "lose" that benefit of having the initial PT

Re: Seen Bill Taylor (uk physio for CPPS) Today

I found her by doing a search on the internet and I am in touch with one CPPS sufferer who is 100% cured. He went to see Ruth once a week fro around 3-4 months. she does not do internal work but is very good MFR specialist. She cured my lower back problems. I have seen her about 4 times but not sinc...

Re: Seen Bill Taylor (uk physio for CPPS) Today

Graeme This is truly great news - keep at it mate . The one thing I like about Bill is that he "casts the net" as wide as possible and does not simply focus on the pelvic muscles and the pelvic trigger points. I am seeing him on Feb 1 and I will report back my progress. I am currently typing this wi...

Re: Advice - pain and symptom free now for 10 days

Graeme I am really pleased to hear about your progress - well done mate. I would still go and see him and because that way you can have no regrets psychologically. I doubt very much whether Bill will leave you in pain if you are starting from a pain free position IMHO. In my case I found that my pai...

Tip for tip of penis pain!

All I wrote recently to say that I had experienced sort of "air bubbles" in my perineum which were occurring once or twice a week. Webslave mentioned that they were fasciculations (not sure if that is the spelling!) and that this was a positive sign. Well over the last week or so following entries f...

Feeling Low

All I have been battling along with tip of the penis pain and have recently noticed trigger points in my lower abdomen. I have been treating these and stretching over the last month and my symptoms have now got noticeable worse. I now am urinating every hour, whereas I was at least 2-3 hours before ...

Lower Abdominal Pain/Tension

I have been exploring my body internally and externally and have found some incredibly tender spots in my lower abdominal muscles. They are about 1-2 inches below my stomach button in the middle of my stomach directly above my pubic bone. When pressed they refer pain to my lower back, around my tors...

Re: Spasm at bladder neck, prostate area

Graeme I have suffered with a spasm when urinating, mainly at the end of my urination, the type of feeling that my pelvic floor is clamping when I finish urinating and is often clamping before i am ready to finish! I notice that when I wee in a warm bath or shower then my muscles do not clamp as muc...

Re: How do you guys get through THOSE days

Garyholc I empathise totally with everything that you are saying but try to focus on the fact that you are going to see Bill Taylor who I know has helped many sufferers who have been in a far worse condition than yourself i.e. these people have been bed ridden and have been unable to get out of bed ...

Re: Penis head (glans) is so sensitive it hurts

This is my main symptom, I have suffered with this for over a year now. It is worse when I sit down than standing up. I have also been told that it may be something to do with Pudendal nerve entrapment but this is quite rare and usually is linked to some sort of trauma to that area ie. surgery, acci...

Re: Just had a question about urinating.

Hi I would recommend going to see a qualified PT as soon as possible as I believe that the earlier that any tension in the pelvis is identified then the easier it is to remedy it. I live in constant pain also and so I know how you feel. My symptoms do not wax and wane either, they are constant at ar...

My progress and a question!

All I have now been seeing Bill Taylor in Scotland for 4 months. Unfortunately I can only see him once a month so I have only had a four sessions. I have however been doing at least 2 hours a day on PT and Relaxation without fail for around 7 months following the advice in HITP and information glean...
