Re: Which Pelvic Friendly Chair Cushion?

I think it would depend on what you are riding in. If it is a car, I don't think I could ever use the 3 inch and I am a lot heavier than you (unless you are not driving). What you do need to understand is that the cushions change a huge amount during the first 8 odd hours of use. They all feel terri...

Re: Options for Australians?

I think a problem with Australian urologists and medical practitioners are that even though they never agree with each other, they are always right.

Re: Which Pelvic Friendly Chair Cushion?

Hi, I use these cushions both for computer work and driving. I have found that in my particular case, even though my body weight suggests the 2 inch firm model, I am happier with the 3 inch firm model. Some of this has to do with the fact that I have trigger points just inside the anus (so very sens...

Re: Options for Australians?

Are you using the Theracane internally as well?! btw, I can vouch for those cushions from the IC shop in your link (maybe you can update the link title, since they aren't really donut cushions). Anyway I bought one for the car and one for my computer chair and now have more on order so I don't have ...

Re: Options for Australians?

It's pathetic to see someone who is completely clueless yet tries to maintain an air of having a clue. So true, and an experience we have all had, I'd say. I think for you the answer is self-treatment with some implement using the A HEADACHE IN THE PELVIS book, relaxation tapes, benzos (occasional)...

Re: Options for Australians?

I had actually considered going to the US, but it would be absolutely impossible for me to fund it. I had to retire from full-time work due to long-standing health issues (nothing whatsoever to do with CPPS) and my self-funded income does not do much more than pay the bills and keep me fed. I probab...

Options for Australians?

There does not seem to be any cohesive and self-contained body of information at present regarding options available to Australians who suffer from CPPS. We've all read about the various treatments but inevitably unless you are lucky enough to live in the US, finding access to such treatments is usu...

Re: PROGRESS UPDATE NO GLUTEN/WHEAT

Hi Carl, Good to see things are going well, but I am sure you would agree that long term results are what matters. I've gone through periods up to three or four weeks when I was tempted to post her and say "I'm cured - this is what I did!!!". But I have been all to aware that just as the problem has...

Re: Now I know what you mean about Winter!

I am sure that the cure to this thing consists of: 1. No work ever again 2. And endless supply of money 3. Living in a warm climate all year round 4. No stress, no worries, nothing, like peace and quiet. I am sure given these "conditions for our bodies to heal" we would all be back to normal within...

Thanks for all the replies. I think I should move to the far North of Queensland - much warmer than down here! But yes, I was going wonderfully in late Summer and through Autumn. I'm actually feeling a bit better having started to do TP therapy every day (rather than a couple of times week - which i...

Now I know what you mean about Winter!

Over the last 5 months my condition had really been improving. On a good day I would have rated myself at perhaps 90% - 95% pain free and on a bad day perhaps around 75% - 80%. That has been a huge improvement compared to last year and the beginning of this year when I would have rated myself at bet...

btw Webslave,

I seem to recall you mentioning that you took Prosta-Q but no longer need to take it any more. How long did you take it for? It might help serve as a guide for me, because both of us seemed to notice an improvement very quickly as well (3 days for both us I think).

OK, thanks for the reply. As for the tinnitus, Farr Labs could not find any connection to that problem either. I'm hoping then that it was just a coincidental flare up. I'll wait until my tinnitus gets back to normal levels and give it another go.

Prosta-Q side effects

Hi all, I started taking Prosta-Q about 6 days ago (2 tablets per day - breakfast and dinner). Although the product definitely has improved my condition, I have noticed a couple of possible side effects. I feel quite nauseous even if I take the tablets with or straight after food. I know this side e...
