The story continues...

Ever since I spent a week on valium and read A Headache in The Pelvis, my symptoms have remained manageable. I occasionally sit on a tennis ball or do sitz baths, and I'm still take Prosta-Q daily, but I've returned to most of my previous activities. However, it's not completely gone, just no longer...

Hi, I initially thought I damaged myself from too much masturbation which caused the prostatitis. This belief was heightened because I wasn't actually diagnosed for ages. So I went through ages of trying not to touch it etc, torture haha. I enjoy ejaculation, feels like its activating the muscles a...

I'm just giving thanks the past few days that I can now walk without having to hold the front of my pants and underwear away from my penis head. That alone has restored some normality to my life. I'm a little more symptomatic today, but the incredible zinfandel I drank this weekend makes it all wort...

Ever since reading "A Headache in the Pelvix" the symptoms have been on the decline for me. This evening is a minor flare-up, but given the amount of wine I tasted earlier today and the case of incredible zinfandel I got for $100, I consider it a fair trade. Time to sit back with a good movie and re...

Central, Welcome and it really seems you are in the right direction. Keep the positive upbeat approach and do your stretching and hot baths to relax those muscles. Maybe take it easy on the lifting and vigorous workout. The PT work will bring everything to light and give you some right spots to wor...

Just want to add that Tim was the only PT I saw out of three that found my trigger points with ease. He listened to my symptoms and went almost right to them. I'm sort of jealous that you are that close, those sessions after Tim gave me good relief. Now I go it alone based on what Tim taught me. Re...

Central, Welcome, your story is not uncommon to me. I was a competitive bodybuilder while trying to juggle the rigors of work and law school. Very driven, tons of physical activity, etc and so forth. You are right you need to slow it down for a while. Work on yourself in regards to this issue. Chec...

Saw the article too. Lots of guys go through this apparently. You're not alone. My father and my brother went through this as well, but didn't see it as this. My father eventually got better, my brother still deals with it.

Re: CPPS and carpal tunnel syndrome

Does anyone have this combo? I have had CPPS two years and have it under control buy my hands fall asleep at night and hurt during the day. I think I have carpal tunnel which can be related to stress and tension. I do not have a typing job and studies have never linked computer jobs to carpal tunne...

Newbie Time

Hey guys, I'm new to the board and the condition. Mine flared up shortly after my girlfriend dumped me and I was in the midst of intense triathlon training as well as pushing my limits at weightlifting. At first, I thought she had given me an STD on the way out. But of course, all was negative and I...

Thanks for the info! The number works, but they weren't in today.

Tim Sawyer's Contact Info

Hey guys, I'm new here, having acquired CPPS about 2 months ago. And yes, I'm yet another type A, go team CP! Anyway, I am lucky enough to live in the bay area, and while I'm sure I'll ultimately attend an SP seminar if I don't improve, I'd like to try getting a referral to see Tim Sawyer right from...
