Success - I no longer have CPPS and I haven't for two years now

Hello All, It has been a long long time since I posted on this forum. The main cause of my success is very different from the Wise Anderson protocol, but I thought I had to share it just in case there was anyone on this forum it may help. I know how horrible this can be and if I can help just one pe...

Re: New UK Midlands sufferer

Hi Nick, I'm from the UK too (London). I didn't have physical therapy (although I did use a prostate massager internally to begin with that my or may not have helped with any trigger points). My main source of recovery has been Elavil (or amitriptyline as we call it in the UK), stretches, not holdin...

Re: Has anyone here ever gotten better without physical therapy?

I did not require physical therapy to help me out, although I am somewhat of a complex case due to surgery required for another condition. In the early days I did use a prostate massager to help out and I guess this may well have worked on trigger points at the time. But I had substantial pain after...

Re: Penis sensation, frequent voiding

Elavil did not help so don't take it. Excluding that is an option, but perhaps you did not give it enough time at a very low dose... Very good advice, it took 2-3 weeks for Elavil to have an effect on me (I thought at first I was wasting my time but persevered) and 6 weeks to get to full relief usi...

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

Brett, have you even considered the use of low doses of Elavil (5-30mg) to help you come off the benzos (admittedly I have not looked through the entire thread to see if you have already used it with no positive outcome). While I was in hospital for a different issue I found Valium excellent for my ...

Re: Discerete Event Trigger - twice - thoughts?

I have no symptoms now. A combination of Elavil, stretching and being sensible about how long I hold my bladder have helped dramatically. Before the onset I had a bout of kidney stones, with one getting stuck in my bladder over a period of a month causing me to hold my bladder and tense my pelvic mu...

Re: Discerete Event Trigger - twice - thoughts?

Hi painagain, I am pretty sure that holding my bladder while I had a stone stuck in my bladder was one of the triggers for my original flare up. I also know that doing the same thing would exacerbate any symptoms. It is bound to increase stress and tension in the muscles around the pelvis. Using Ela...

Re: Major flare up after intraprostatic injection (Dr Song)!!

Having been away from the forum for a while and catching up with a few things I am shocked by the whole Dr.Song and Debbie/Rob issues I've seen on various threads around the site. It never ceases to shock me what some people will do in this world to profit from people in desperate situations. ...

I have found success via a rollercoaster ride

Well, I’ve not posted here for nearly two years. Things got out of control and a bit mad. I now have my CPPS (amongst other things) under control and wish to tell my story. Let me refresh you all…..I started having problems after an incident with a kidney stone and a ureteroscopy about 2 and a half ...

My first Uro with this stuff left a kidney stone in my ureter for 6 months because he was sure the extreme penis pain was from my prostate that really really needed his knife. In fact, the second Uro who removed the stone stopped the pain. Thank God I'd been here long enough to know I had to run sc...

Personally I test the bath with my arm first. I make sure it's very hot but not hot enough to hurt. If it hurts I cool it down. Then I get in very slowly to make sure again it's not too hot and then I place my legs and arms outside the bath on the ledges. This helps me to simulate a sitz bath as bes...

They are called Pro State Prostate Massagers I believe by the place that markets them as the massagers rather than the sex toys.

I have one of these models and used it initially to relieve my symptoms when my prostate was very swollen. However, I did not use it to perform a full prostate massage. I simply put a condom on it, used LOADS of lube and pushed it in, applied VERY LIGHT AND DELICATE pressure on sensitive areas of th...

Yeah, I get this with my alpha-blocker too. To get around it I try and time my ejaculations so that I have them just before I take my next pill. Inconvenient to say the least, but it helps and I get a stronger ejaculation for sure.
