Re: Power Yoga...

After hearing that yoga was the cureall for IBS as well as other chronic conditions and has helped a lot of posters here, I decided to give it a try. I began a 30 day Moksha yoga challenge. After day 22 I had to throw in the towel; while I felt good immediately after, my IBS symptoms went through th...

Lexapro side effects

I went on Lexapro and only lasted 3 days! I could barely pee and did not sleep for two nights more anxious than ever. It did seem to help my IBS pain however. Was wondering if the negative effect on my flow would diminish if I stayed on them. My GP is going to give me a hard time tomorrow as he want...

Sleeper I did have urodynamics done last year. I posted about it but have not been on the boards posting since. My flow rate was 6 ml/s if I recall. I've been holding off on a TUIP which was recommended by uro who did urodynamics because of conflicting advice from other uros including the one who pe...

What if your retention is high like 330-450 and sometimes higher? Could this possibly lead to abdominal pain or cause GI/defecation issues? And could it lead to desensitization issues whereby you lose the urge to urinate due to chronic retention?

Does anyone have email and phone contacts for Dr. Wise and Dr. Anderson?

The link on main page doesn't work for me because I don't use outllook express.

Could you post it here or email it to me.

I am sure it has had a lot to do with my problems. I have cut down over the past year and am down to 1-2 glasses 1 or 2 nights a week. Tough to give it up entirely as I am a wine collector and it is my hobby and passion. I have given up beer entirely no problem and never drink liquor. Funny thing is...

That is great Sleeper!!!

Makes me wonder about my uro as he said I would definitely have retro if it was done "properly". Maybe credentials aren't always enough? He is chief of urology but is also "old school" so to speak. I would guess he is early-mid sixties.

Wow, thanks for all the prompt and informative replies! None of my urologists seemed too concerned about my loss of urge. It was my doctor who insisted I see neurologist whom then had me do the MRI which came back normal. No one has suggested looking in my head yet. I realize this is not typical of ...

Retaining 200-450cc and NO urge to urinate!! Help please!

Hi, my first post. (43 year old male) I'm very impressed with the level of knowledge and support here. I've been retaining between 200-450cc for over 6months now and have NO urge to urinate ever. Could this be a learned behavior due to chronic retention? A symptom of prostatitis? Nerve damage? Backg...
