Well for the NIH to do this type of research is astonishing to say the least, considering the type of research the NIH is prospectively doing ,the results could probably prove to be remarkable; specifically for men that do have a genetic or biological component to their pelvic pain and not a muscle ...

The links I posted about refer to TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) has been approved by the FDA to treat depression. There is some evidence of TMS benefit to the HPA axis.
