Re: Antisperm Antibodies?

I think my semen was just generally thick, but also included these little lumps. This is a change that corresponds to the beginning of my CPPS, and which seems to improve slightly when the CPPS is in remission. I've found the same thing, though I don't know how common this trait is. Perhaps some in...

Re: CPPS is taking my life from me (Brett's Case)

If you want to put your mind at ease go for a colonoscopy, if your symptoms don't get better. I have Crohn's disease (I'm not saying you have Crohn's) and I'm pretty sure it contributes to my issues. Just a thought.

Re: Ambien = Cancer?

Thanks for the responses guys. I do use Elavil on an occasional basis as well. I also use melatonin a few times a year. I try to use everything in moderation to avoid any problems. Was calculating today that the amount that people would take in a 6 week study (and I think some were 6 months) is the ...

Ambien = Cancer?

Perhaps this is off topic. Mark feel free to move if you deem it to be. I've been taking a half pill of zopiclone (a drug in Canada similar to Ambien) once or twice a week for a few years now with no problems. Yesterday I came across an article suggesting that non-benzo sedatives cause cancer at pre...

Re: Dr. Song In China (thread #2)

I haven't visited this site for a few weeks, and I'm reading this completely gobsmacked. I posted at the other site for a short while, but I was banned for encouraging people to think critically and to not run to a foreign country with who knows what kind of medical standards. Hopefully I helped to ...

Re: yellow color semen

I found that 1500 mg a day of quercetin made my semen yellow/green. Something to keep in mind.

Re: Supplements to try

I had forgotten about this. My impression was that broccoli broth treatment went out after discovery of muscles as the cause of pain. In any case I have no urinary symptoms (thankfully) but otherwise everything else (and prostrate is absolutely normal it seems). Not at all. I'm pretty sure it helpe...

Re: Doctors are such a pain!

I had my one uro assistant tell me that although I had seen him in the past, he doesn't "deal with" prostatitis anymore. Gee, thanks very much! Agreed though that sometimes a uro is needed, at least in Canada. For example, I couldn't even get my family doc to prescribe Flexeril when I was having spa...

Re: Cannot sleep

I know this isn't huge but a shower before bed will help lower body temperature which makes it easier for sleeping. Maybe not advice for some of the more extreme cases but might help some of you guys who need a little something more to relax you. Yes I find this helpful for relaxing. I've showered ...

Interesting. What dose of Elavil were you on and for how long? Thanks

Re: Cannot sleep

For nerve activity I found that Elavil helps. For muscle spasms I found that hot baths, relaxation helped. It it painful, or just a sensation? If it's not painful try not to let it upset you (I know this takes patience and isn't easy.) It may be the anxiety more than the pain bothering you. This pas...

Re: Cannot sleep

Have you tried cognitive therapy? It was as effective for me as Ambien, which I read a study showed to be the most effective medicine. Also Ambien is not addictive like Xanax nor Elavil with less side effects. I would add that Ambien is not 'addictive' but it you overuse it you will become dependen...
