Immunoglobulin M, Glutamine, Carnitine

Hi everyone, I recently tested deficient in Immunoglobulin M (antibody), Glutamine (amino acid) and Carnitine (quaternary ammonium compound biosynthesized from the amino acids lysine and methionine). Anybody else been tested for these? Have the results been low, normal, high? FYI, I'm a standard/cla...

Re: Best Treatment for "golf ball in the butt" pain?

That food list is real helpful. Thanks! I'm 100% gluten free right now, which I think is true for your list also.

Re: Best Treatment for "golf ball in the butt" pain?

Yeah, I'm definitely back doing some good trigger point PT. The diet info definitely relates to my symptoms. I have never had blood thinners, and asprin only once or twice. Can you test for salicylate intolerance, or is it just trial and error? The sugars, fruits, spices, alcohol, coffee, etc... all...

Re: Best Treatment for "golf ball in the butt" pain?

You nailed it on the allergy idea webslave. I am 100% convinced that the urethra pain is controlled by what I eat, and the butt pain is in part controlled by what I eat. But the PT helps take the edge off the butt pain too. I have cut out all gluten, but still eat corn. Maybe I should cut that out t...

Re: Best Treatment for "golf ball in the butt" pain?

Yes. I went to the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol about 4 years ago and did/had PT done religiously for the three years following. It definitely prevented the pain from being the max, but it never got rid of it completely. Then one day I woke up and it was gone, but I had terrible urinary/urethra i...

Best Treatment for "golf ball in the butt" pain?

For the last year or so I've mostly dealt with inflamed urethra pain. This has been successfully treated with Celebrex, Prosta-Q and a regulated diet (no gluten, low sugar/carb). However, I occasionally will wake up with a few days or so of that bad muscle pain in the rectum area (I've heard it desc...

Re: PLEASE HELP; New severe urethra pain (first time in 7 years)

Webslave,

Thank you very much. I'm glad you confirmed my experience is consistent with other members of the forum. I will update as I learn more. I am back to being 100% gluten free and plan to be that way for a very long time.
All the best.

Is Stanford Protocal The Best First Step?

Hi Everyone, I'm new here and I've been dealing with chronic prostatitis for about four years now. I've done the whole urologist thing: antibiotics, cystoscopy, prostate massage, etc. None of it worked. Then I found this website and read AHIP . My symptoms have improved about 30% just from paying at...
