In winter I have way more trouble staying warm Yeah - it's an odd one that - me to. This alone gives you some clue as to the cause of CP/IC/PM/CPPS, doesn't it? Mark - are you suggesting that the bacteria we're all afflicted with is less active during the summer when it's nice and warm?

Just as a matter of interest, how would such a study be designed? I mean, how would you design it for placebo control and randomization? Anyone?
I presume the 'placebo' lot would have to be unaware of what the therapy entailed and just submit to some vague internal massage.

ie. I have no idea.

I switched from mountain bikes to mountain boards and I haven't looked back. You get your exercise from walking up hills and then carving down them. No sitting involved and can be as low impact as you like.

Plus, you can go really fast :-D

It's important that those suffering from severe anxiety don't take the quote the wrong way Good point. I didn't stop to think, but that quote would have sent me even further over the edge this time last year. Eager to read the whole article when it hits newsagents in the UK though. My first reactio...

How very frightening. I for one am off out to buy the magazine. Just that little snippet explains a lot though. I find the 'takes over the nervous system bit' especially applicable. Thanks Mark.

Dr. Dimitrakov -- whose active presence in this forum is missed, but of course understood -- provided the first glimmer of light that signalled that there just might be an end to my own tunnel of dispair
I second that. This is wonderful news.

However, I am seriously considering a trip to Stanford to improve my relaxation skills and to find out more about myofascial release.
That stuff is really interesting. Maybe we're seeing the start of a paradigm shift?

I think you should switch to Hytrin (for example) if you don't like Flomax. I totally agree with this. Retrograde ejaculation is a pain and I'm not sure if it doesn't wind things up even more. My retrograde ejac varies, but when the least amount of ejaculate is released the feeling is just plain wr...
